Season Alpha Schools Finish 1st and 3rd at VALORANT Nationals

Clements is your 2026 national high school VALORANT champion. Stephen F. Austin finished third in the country. Both schools played in TEC’s pilot season.

On July 11, Clements High School of Sugar Land won the 2026 national high school VALORANT title at AEA Nationals. Stephen F. Austin, the Season Alpha VALORANT champion, finished third. Two of the four national semifinalists spent this spring competing in the Texas Esports Conference.

AEA Nationals

The Amateur Esports Association’s AEA Nationals, powered by LeagueOS, is the largest end-of-season high school esports championship in the country: more than 110 championship teams and 350+ student competitors across five titles, playing in person at 16 venues nationwide on July 10 and 11.

Texas on the Podium

Stephen F. Austin went unbeaten on day one, swept into the semifinals, and closed the weekend third in the nation. Clements entered the championship bracket as the No. 11 seed and won four straight, every one against a higher seed, to take the national title.

If you were at the Boeing Center at Tech Port on May 17, you already know these programs. Stephen F. Austin won the Season Alpha VALORANT title that day. Clements played to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate final. Eight weeks later, the same two schools stood on a national podium.
